Boutique Hotel Venturo – A Design Hotels™ Address in the Heart of Split

A €15 million investment by the Westgate Group, Boutique Hotel Venturo is the only hotel in Croatia welcomed into the global Design Hotels™ – Marriott International collection, and its sole member between the Adriatic and the Aegean.

Design and craft come first: a façade of Brač stone composed into a geometry of interlocking volumes sets the tone, while inside, sandy neutrals inspired by traditional Drniš embroidery meet stone, wood and metal, and each of the 22 rooms and 2 suites holds its own one-of-a-kind artwork by academic painter Vera Mekinić. The building itself is delivered as a nearly zero-energy structure (nZEB), aligned with the DNSH principle and the EU Taxonomy, using materials with low emissions of harmful substances.

Set in the heart of Bačvice, a few steps from the beach and a ten-minute stroll from Diocletian’s Palace, Venturo has been kept deliberately intimate – four stars as an entry point rather than a ceiling, with an upper-upscale experience where every guest is recognised rather than merely registered. V Restaurant & Bar, a wellness and spa zone, a Matrix-equipped fitness area, a rooftop pool overlooking the city, and a garage served by a car lift make it a destination in its own right – conceived as “Split’s living room.”
